Hey folks!
We are happy to share the latest updates to our platform that aim to improve your experience and make your workflows more efficient. These are the new features that have been introduced to our platform:
Temporal-Based Workflow Event Viewer
Temporal.io events have become even more accessible with the introduction of the event history viewer in processes that are configured to be used with KuFlow Engine. This interface displays a list of events in chronological order, giving a quick overview of the type of event or activity started, among other information.
Additionally, the JSON snippet of each event is displayed, making it easy for developers to debug any issues. The content of events with payloads is also displayed (as long as they are not encrypted), which further simplifies the debugging process. Moreover, it is possible to download a JSON file with all the events, which makes it easy to store and share event data.
Possibility to select the Initiator role to configure permissions of processes and tasks
The permissions management process has been improved with the ability to select the "Initiator" meta candidate when assigning permissions. This means that the configured permissions will be applied to the process initiator in each instance. Furthermore, the same selection can be made for each task, making the initiator of the process a likely candidate to perform the task.
Possibility to select the Viewer role to configure permissions of processes and tasks
The new "Viewer" role has been added to the platform to grant read permission on the process and its tasks. If set at the process level, this role grants read permission to the process and all of its tasks. Similarly, if set at the task level, it grants read permission on these tasks.
In conclusion, we are sure that these new updates will improve your experience and make your workflow more efficient. We look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions for future improvements.
